Modelling a Healthy Margin
Compare mods quotes on the same incoterm. A price that looks better because it excludes a cost you assumed was included is not a saving at all.
Indicative reference points for planning purposes: entry tier from USD 1.00 per unit at 2000 units, mid tier at USD 1.86, and volume tier at USD 0.58 for full container quantities. These figures move with specification, packaging and freight, so treat them as a shape rather than a quote.
The Specification That Matters
Revisit the mods specification after every third order. Small improvements compound, and factories take a buyer more seriously when the document has clearly been used.
Ask any factory for the same mods sample twice, three months apart. If the second sample drifts, the production line is running without statistical control and your reviews will drift with it. Consistency over time is a more useful signal than a single good sample.

Where Mods Sits in the Range
A tight mods range with deep availability usually outsells a wide range with thin stock. Customers who find their line in stock come back; customers who are told to wait do not.
Turning Mods Into Repeats
Put mods where the decision is made, not where the margin is highest. In most stores that means near the counter or at eye level in the category, rather than wherever there is spare space.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a warranty on mods?
Manufacturing defects are covered against the retained sample standard. Normal wear, misuse and damage after opening are not. We publish the threshold in the order terms so both sides know exactly what the claim process looks like.
How long does a mods order take to arrive?
Production typically takes ten to eighteen working days after artwork approval, and transit depends on the method you choose. Air express is fastest, sea freight is cheapest at volume. We confirm both at quotation so there is no surprise later.
Do you hold stock for regular customers?
For established programmes we can reserve production slots and, in some cases, hold finished mods stock against a forecast. It removes most of the lead time risk from a reorder and is worth discussing once volumes are stable.
Can I visit the production facility?
Yes, and we encourage it for larger programmes. Visits are most useful when you already have a draft specification, because you can then check the specific processes behind the numbers you care about.
Can I mix strengths in one order?
In most cases yes, as long as each strength meets the minimum run length. Mixed strength cartons are popular with retailers building their first display because they show the full ladder without over committing.
